Terms & Policies
RESERVATION POLICIES:
In regular season the reservations should be made 15 days prior to the arrival date. In high season please send us your reservation request 30 days prior to the arrival date. All reservations should be confirmed and paid before the arrival date providing the full name and identification number of each guest.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation free of charge within the 15 days prior to the arrival date in regular season. In high season cancellations must be 30 days before the arrival date. There is no refund for cancellations after this term.
payment:
The full amount of the services must be paid before your arrival to Guatemala. Our payment policy is pre-paid only. The payments should be done by cross-border bank transfer included the transaction fee. Children under 10 pay 65% of the adult rate sharing the room with the parents. Children under 5 years old pay 25% under the same conditions. If you need any additional services for your baby or minor please contact us.
liability:
Mayan Trip as a limited liability operator. We accept no liability for damages, losses, accidents, delays or any other incident caused by natural disasters, strikes, disturbances, epidemic disease or other situations caused by a third person. We reserve the right to cancel or change itineraries. The passenger travels with luggage and personal belonging under his/her own responsibility. We recommend to purchase a travel insurance for your travel.
MEDICAL CONCERNS:
Guatemala is a semi-tropical country get travel vaccines and medicines for tropical diseases avoid mosquito bites or drink contaminated food or water. Ask your doctor what vaccines and medicines you need based on the destination, how long you are staying and what you will be doing. Especially, we recommend vaccines for malaria and dengue. Eat and drink safely, keep away from animals and avoid bug and mosquitos bites with medical products.
